Newtown, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/05/2018 -- The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts (PSPA) will be offering one free tap class for adults and teens, which will typically be available on Tuesday nights. Guests can check the website for times. This class is an incredible opportunity for beginners to learn tap dancing in a fun and inviting way.

The PSPA staff believes in the transformative power of dance, and they believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to learn this art form. That is why they are offering these tap lessons in Newtown, PA, for dancers of all ages and skill levels. Tap shoes are not required during the first day of class, and students are encouraged to wear jazz shoes or rubber bottom character heels instead.

All of this school's tap classes are taught by experienced dancers in PSPA's newly-renovated tap studio. Once a member of their Tuesday class becomes more skilled, they will have the opportunity to move on to PSPA's more advanced courses.

Parents who would like their babies to learn tap right away are encouraged to enroll them in the Babies Dance Academy, where the students will learn both ballet and tap. Children ages 5 to 7 can learn these dances in the Creative Broadway Stars course, and PSPA students can begin focused tap courses at age 7.

PSPA will also be offering acro classes for beginners near Doylestown, PA. This incredible style combines classical dance technique with acrobatic elements. Adult and teen dancers will focus on building strength, flexibility, and control in order to perform acrobatic elements while maintaining musicality and gracefulness.
