Los Angeles, CA -- (ReleaseWire) -- 04/06/2018 -- It's time to do something about people hindered by mental illness, bullying, wars, drugs, gun violence, abuse, negligence and discrimination. Join us in standing up for people who have no voice in these matters. These afflictions and tribulations have taken too many lives too soon, broken up too many families and, caused trauma that many will need a lifetime to overcome. Edmund Burk said it best, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men and women to do nothing."
From Guatemala to Syria, Africa, to the U.S.A., suffering, and loss of lives have risen at an alarming rate. The ETC Movement's goal is for people to unite for change by having a better comprehension on the complicated social issues affecting our communities, share in a moment of silence in honor of all the lives lost, and as an encouragement to the living. On that day, vows will be made to respect one another, to be vigilant (especially with children) and to educate ourselves on the challenging social issues that affect each and every one of us. These vows will silently and voluntarily be made by everyone present to encourage a positive change for the betterment of our communities and to change the negative narrative in today's brutal society.
We encourage everyone to attend. The color of the day will be 'white', and people are encouraged to come with water and warm jackets as well as family, friends, colleagues, and cameras.
